About the Trust

Founded to serve Sanathana Dharma

The Sri Sri Sri Adi Shankaraacharya Seva Trust was registered as a charitable trust on 3rd June 2016, with the blessings of the Jagadgurus of Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetam — Paramapujya Sri Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji and Paramapujya Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekara Bharathi Mahaswamiji.

Adi Guru Sri Shankaraacharya lived for thirty-two years and dedicated his life to preaching the true essence of the ten Upanishads, the backbone of Sanathana Dharma. Out of a humble desire to serve the Achaarya, the Trust began the project Sree Shaankara Tapovana at Shivagange.

"Happiness does not come from outside. It is a state of Mind. From constant practice any one can attain that state." — Adi Guru Sri Shankaraacharya, quoting the Shruthis
